We aim to support regional agriculture by providing small family farms the opportunity to sell their produce directly to consumers, providing our community with access to the freshest, most nutritious locally grown food our region has to offer.
The Gap Farmers’ Market is directed by a steering committee comprised of a dedicated, talented and hard-working group of volunteers from The Gap.
We are working professionals, business owners, retirees and students who are all driven by the same passion – to bring an authentic community marketplace to The Gap. To create a central meeting place where farmers, local artists and makers can sell their wares and tell their stories.
Deep in our hearts is our commitment to support Queensland’s regional producers and good nutrition in The Gap greater community through fresh, seasonal, farmer-direct produce. We also desire to encourage and support local businesses, schools and our greater community.
